Who we are
Web Care is a website updates service for New Zealand businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
When you contact us, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, your website address, and optionally your business name and phone number, plus your message. If you ask us to edit your website, you may also give us access to it, such as a user account invitation on your platform. Our website also uses Google Analytics, which collects anonymised usage data (pages visited, device type, general location) to help us improve the site.
How we use it
We use your contact details solely to respond to your enquiry and deliver our services. We use any access you give us to your website only to make the changes you asked for. We never sell your information or use it for third-party marketing.
Who processes it
Your enquiry is delivered to us via Resend (email service). If you become a client, we keep your invoices and payment records. You pay by bank transfer, so we never ask for your card details. If you signed up on our earlier monthly plan, Stripe processes those card payments and we never see or store your card details. Our website is hosted on Cloudflare.
Your rights
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email us at webcarenz@gmail.com or send any request through our contact form, and we’ll action it promptly.
